You can also amend the selection in the settings. Once set the student is blocked from ordering related items. In the app you can click an item to see more information. On the EPOS you can long press an item to get the same information.

Free School Meals (FCMs) & Groups

The system runs two purses/wallets, cash and subsidy. The rear facing screen however only shows cash amounts, so subsidised transactions would look almost identical therefore anonymising free school meal accounts

Off line mode

LunchClub has a robust offline mode to support where the network is either down or intermittent. All relevant information is cached when a manager scans in inc. menus, users, allergens and balances.

Student identification

The fingerprint itself isn’t stored but instead a map of key points which is then hashed (one way encryption) and securely stored. Its use is opt-in only so an alternative is required and we would recommend using a QR code. Parental consent can also be obtained and managed through the app.
